Back In The Shadows: Bloomberg Just Dropped Another Boat Load Of Cash To Stop A Trump Campaign Initiative
His attempt at becoming President may be over but, former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg is still working deep in the shadows and he’s trying to block a Trump campaign initiative.
Bloomberg just dumped $2 million into The Collective PAC, which describes itself to be “the nation’s fastest-growing black-led political action committee,” the group’s mission is to help increase voter turnout among black Americans.
In a press release:
The Collective is proud to announce that Mike Bloomberg has donated two million dollars to help fund the organization’s 501c4 arm Collective Future and their new voter registration initiative targeted towards Black voters in eight crucial states across the country.”
The organization is going to spend the money in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin to register 500,000 black Americans to vote in states that have typically gone for the Republican candidate in presidential elections.
“There is a critical need for Black voter engagement across the country in the 2020 election and beyond, and we are deeply grateful to Mike Bloomberg for his partnership and dedication to this critical cause,” said Quentin James, the president of The Collective.
Since being elected to office President Trump’s economic program has benefited African Americans providing them with the lowest unemployment ever. The Trump campaign is also placing centers in urban areas to increase his numbers among African Americans. The President is popular with African American men and is seeing increasing support from minorities.
Democrats know the trouble they are in (they’ll never admit it), one of the nation’s largest unions, the Service Employees International Union, announced that it is going to spend $150 million to help defeat President Trump by turning out the black vote.
Bloomberg is so jealous and desperate to stop President Trump you gotta wonder if he’s willing to go broke to do it.
