Backlash Forces MSN Reporter To Delete Outlandish Post About Nashville Shooting
In the wake of the horrific school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee, Monday morning, many on the left are attempting to shift the blame away from the assailant and onto Christians and conservatives.
Rather than focus on the tragedy and the loss of life, some liberal journalists, columnists, entertainers, and activists have decided to instead focus their ire on Christians and conservatives for banning drag shows for children.
Sports writer Mike Wise has come under fire for seeming to sympathize with the shooter, a transgender woman, for being a “victim of ‘intolerant … brainwashing‘ through ‘religious indoctrination.'”
Talk show host David Pakman has mocked the school for not “praying enough,” while gun control activist Shannon Watts of Moms Demand Action accused victims of not “DO[ING] YOUR F—ING JOB“ when it comes to gun control.
Television show writer Lee Aronsohn has scoffed at prayer in a tweet while ridiculing the state‘s move against drag shows.
“Dead, Maimed Children = Thoughts & Prayers™ Drag Queen Story Hour = Impassioned Condemnation and Priority Legislation The thing is, If we gave an assault rifle to every drag queen the GOP would make Story Hour a national holiday,” he tweeted.
ABC News journalist Terry Moran has been accused of blaming Christians and Republicans for the shooting after he highlighted Tennessee‘s bans on drag shows and gender surgeries for minors.

Others have taken to social media to express their outrage at the state for banning drag shows and gender surgeries for children, instead of taking steps to prevent gun violence.
A freelancer for NBC News was blasted over a since-deleted tweet in which he appears to link the mass shooting at a Christian school in Nashville with the conservative media outlet the Daily Wire and its star commentators Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh.
Benjamin Ryan, a freelance reporter tweeted about the shooting linking it to the conservative media group, Daily Wire, which he was blasted for and has since deleted his tweet.
