Barack Obama Goes Too Far Calling Republicans Racist
Barack Obama has managed to stay somewhat under the radar since Biden took office. But he came up for air this week calling GOP rhetoric on immigration “dangerous” for the country.
It’s hard to imagine anything more dangerous than what is happening now at the border. People are drowning in the rivers and dying in the desert as masses flock to what they perceive as an open border in America. Convicted felons and suspected terrorist are making their way through the border that is overwhelmed.
Are the GOP words more dangerous than the drugs entering the country like the huge quantities of fentanyl? It is now the leading cause of death in young Americans.
Obama said Republicans are “racist” for opposing illegal immigration, but he did not do one thing to house 50 migrants in his Martha’s Vineyard mansion.
The former president believes that what drives the GOP agenda in immigration is fear of people with dark skins. There have been two million encounters at the border just in 2022, so that number is increasing. We know of about one million who have entered the country illegally. This is a massive crisis, and Obama thinks concern over this is due to bigoted people.
There is no doubt that racism is an issue in America, and some on the right are racists. But how can Obama lump all who see the present platform for immigration into that camp?
And why isn’t Obama watching the edges of this issue and seeing how many Hispanics are moving toward the right? He should be watching states like Virginia and New Jersey.
Many Latinos along the Texas border are offended by the chaos and crime in their area. They see the policies as having failed in their own communities. Are they being racist too?
This seems to be the same rhetoric that Obama has delivered before focussing on angry white people as the problem.

It is a LONG STANDING tradition in campaign advertising that the subject of a negative ad is shown in grainy black and white footage. Ds do it to Rs. Rs do it to Ds. But the New York Times has now declared it racist because the Rs have done it to Black Lives Matter. pic.twitter.com/dZAVQhIP9n
