Beto Attempts To Rake In Profits Using His Gun Grab Threats
Former Congressman Beto O’Rourke has unveiled new merchandise after he made headlines Thursday night.
The campaign’s online store is selling shirts that have red, white, and blue letters promising gun confiscation.
The shirt reads, “Hell yes we’re going to take your AR-15” followed by “Beto for America” slogan.
The shirt come in “Unisex” and “Ladies cut” because you know if you’re a liberal men are bad.
On Thursday night Beto energized the audience saying, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47,” he said, as the crowd cheered. “We’re not going to allow it to be used against our fellow Americans anymore.”
During the debate O’Rourke told the story of a woman whose daughter died in the El Paso mass shooting, claiming a teen girl bled to death “over the course of an hour because… there weren’t enough ambulances to get to them in time.” However, that has now been debunked and much of the account Beto gave of the El Paso shooting was fake news according to a local news affiliate CBS7. Here’s what they reported:
The claim that there weren’t enough ambulances is false, according to information given to CBS7 by the City of Odessa. The Odessa Fire Department arrived at Freedom Buick GMC Truck on 42nd Street 7 minutes and 21 seconds after Leilah Hernandez and her brother Nathan were reported shot to 911, according to the city.
An ambulance arrived about a minute later.
We’re told that all 8 ambulances and 8 fire trucks in Odessa were scrambled two Saturdays ago after the shooting started. An additional ambulance responded that day as well. Plus, the City of Midland Fire and Rescue sent many over to assist.
Statistically speaking, Mr. O’Rourke is correct if you only take into account the number of emergency vehicles in Odessa. More than 30 people shot and either injured or killed and the city only has a total of 16 staffed vehicles.
But emergency responders also have a system in place called “mutual aid.” When something gets to big to handle, like a fire or what happened Labor Day weekend, nearby cities like Midland pitch in to help. That helps fill the gaps.
The city does admit that because it was a holiday weekend, it had a limited number of 911 operators working that day and that it took awhile for callers to get through.
Beto not only wants to take your guns, but he’ll also lie, profit off a tragedy, and spread fake news to win the White House.
