Secretary of the Department of Energy Jennifer Granholm is now blaming Americans for the gas shortage dunked on everyday Americans instead of accepting responsibility for some of the blunders that occurred during the gas shortage.

“I just have a question for each of you. I’ll start with you, Secretary Granholm, because ladies first,” a reporter asked. “Obviously, we have the acute issues with the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack. But looking more holistically in a macro view, how does this speed up the efforts at DOE to move in more of a renewable direction since this is going to have an impact on people at the pump?”

“Yeah, I mean, we obviously are ‘all in’ on making sure that we meet the President’s goals of getting to 100 percent clean electricity by 2035 and net-zero carbon emissions by 2050,” Granholm said. “And, you know, if you drive an electric car, this would not be affecting you, clearly. “

We’d love to buy electric cars, it’s just that due to the inflation caused by your boss a $100,000 electric is now going to cost $400,000 (I’m being cheeky). I hope Granholm remembers those words when the brown outs start in California over the summer again, it’s hard to charge an electric car when the electricity goes in and out because green energy isn’t producing enough.

They actually cried uncle and within hours of the breach paid the ransom.

The company paid the hefty ransom in untraceable cryptocurrency within hours after the attack, underscoring the immense pressure faced by the Georgia-based operator to get gasoline and jet fuel flowing again to major cities along the Eastern Seaboard, those people said.

Once they received the payment, the hackers provided the operator with a decrypting tool to restore its disabled computer network. The tool was so slow that the company continued using its own backups to help restore the system, one of the people familiar with the company’s efforts said.
