Biden Admin’s Foreign Policy: All Wokeness, No Results
The latest tweet from U.S. diplomat Karen Decker has caused quite a stir among conservatives. The tweet asked whether Afghans are familiar with the #BlackGirlMagic movement and whether a similar movement is needed for Afghan women and girls.
This tweet has caused many to question the Biden Administration’s foreign policy priorities, as it appears to be prioritizing “wokeness” over competence. It’s hard to take the Biden Administration seriously when its diplomats are tweeting about movements like #BlackGirlMagic instead of focusing on more pressing matters.
This tweet is especially concerning given the state of affairs in Afghanistan, which is now under the control of the Taliban. The Taliban has a long history of oppression and violence against women and girls, particularly in terms of their access to education and athletics. To think that a U.S. diplomat is tweeting about a movement like #BlackGirlMagic instead of doing something to help the plight of Afghan women is simply outrageous.
The Biden Administration’s foreign policy blunders don’t end with the tweet from Karen Decker. The Administration has also been roundly criticized for its response to the situation in Gaza, which has seen a dramatic escalation in violence in recent weeks. The Biden Administration has failed to take a firm stance on the situation, instead opting for a more hands-off approach.
The Biden Administration’s lack of action has been met with criticism from both sides of the aisle. Republicans in particular have been vocal in their criticism of the Biden Administration’s foreign policy, arguing that it has been too soft and too slow to respond to global crises.
In case Americans need any more examples of why Biden foreign policy is failing so miserably around the world 👇🏻 https://t.co/V3P0BiopQA

The Karen Decker tweet only serves to reinforce the notion that the Biden Administration’s foreign policy is more concerned with being woke than it is with actually getting results. Many would like to see the Biden Administration get serious about foreign policy and focus on real issues, not hashtag movements. Until then, conservatives will continue to question the Biden Administration’s commitment to foreign policy.
