Biden Fails To Condemn Key Details After Attack On Capitol Instead References January 6th
President Joe Biden’s remarks over the Good Friday attack on the Capitol was hollow. After expressing his thoughts over the death of a Capitol Hill police officer he did not condemn the suspect, who identified himself as a supporter of Louis Farrakhan and the Nation Of Islam.
Biden claimed that he was “heartbroken” over the news that Officer William Evans of the US Capitol Police was killed in the attack that also severely wounded a second officer. Unlike his criticism of the January 6th incursion Biden made no mention over the ideology of the attacker.
The alleged attacker, Noah Green is a self described “Follower of Farrakhan.”
From the New York Post:
The driver who killed a US Capitol cop before he was gunned down by police is a Nation of Islam devotee from Indiana, according to reports and his social media.
Noah Green, 25, who may have been living in Virginia, described himself as a “Follower of Farrakhan” on his Facebook page, in reference to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.
Green was shot and killed by law enforcement after he exited the vehicle and drew his knife.
“However, the path has been thwarted, as Allah has chosen me for other things,” Green wrote on his Facebook page. “Throughout life, I have set goals, attained them, set higher ones, and then been required to sacrifice those things.”
Instead of condemning Green’s attack, Biden decided to take jab at conservatives.
“We know what a difficult time this has been for the Capitol, everyone who works there, and those who protect it,” he wrote, and added, “As we mourn the loss of yet another courageous Capitol Police officer, I have ordered that the White House flags be lowered to half-mast.”
Green’s Facebook posts in the days before he allegedly attacked the Capitol indicate something bad happened in his life.
“I was on the right track and everything I had planned was coming into existence. It required long hours, lots of studying, and exercise to keep me balanced while experiencing an array of concerning symptoms along the path (I believe to be side effects of drugs I was intaking unknowingly),” he wrote on March 17, signing the message Brother Noah X.
“However, the path has been thwarted, as Allah (God) has chosen me for other things. Throughout life I have set goals, attained them, set higher ones, and then been required to sacrifice those things,” he added.
