Biden Discusses Economy & Inflation
Hey folks, it seems like the Democrats are on a mission to repackage Vice President Kamala Harris, hoping the public will buy into a narrative that’s getting harder to sell. They want you to believe that her trademark laugh is somehow a symbol of joy and that her tenure has been filled with accomplishments. But when you look closer, the reality is far less rosy.
Let’s start with what Harris has actually done since taking office. The list of achievements is pretty thin, and the challenges she was supposed to address—like the border crisis and inflation—remain as pressing as ever. Yet, the Democrats want us to believe that if she steps into the top job, she’ll suddenly solve all the problems she’s been avoiding. It’s a tough sell, especially when she’s been so closely tied to President Joe Biden and his administration’s struggles.
The rate at which inflation is increasing slowed to 2.9% in July, but it’s still increasing. Here’s inflation under Biden/Harris compared to Trump. This is how working- and middle-class Americans experience inflation & it’s still ugly. pic.twitter.com/cPIf3B26yE

Take inflation, for example. Harris is right there with Biden on this one, and let’s not forget that they’ve been at the helm as prices have skyrocketed. Inflation has hit Americans hard, and while the administration likes to tout a “soft landing,” the reality for most people is that everything is more expensive than it was just a few years ago. And here’s the kicker—Harris has been vocal about wanting to raise taxes by eliminating the Trump-era tax cuts. For many, that alone is a dealbreaker.
But the issues don’t stop at the economy. Harris and the Democrats are also facing scrutiny for how they’ve handled Biden’s condition. There’s been a lot of talk about Biden’s mental acuity, and the fact that he’s still stumbling through press conferences hasn’t gone unnoticed. It’s clear that the Democrats want to distance Harris from Biden’s mishaps, but it’s hard to do when she’s been his number two through it all.

Just recently, Biden got testy with the press during the White House Creator Economy Conference. When asked if the U.S. had beaten inflation, Biden snapped back with, “Yes, yes, and yes! I told you we were going to have a soft landing.” He then scolded the press for not writing what he wanted them to write, saying, “My policies are working, start writing that way!” It was a classic Biden moment—demanding that the media fall in line with his narrative, regardless of the facts on the ground.
And then there’s the ongoing saga with Hunter Biden. When asked about new revelations that Hunter sought help from the State Department for Burisma while Joe Biden was vice president, the president smirked and refused to answer. Instead, he deflected by mocking the press, asking if they were “the real press or the fake press back there,” before quickly claiming it was a joke. It’s hard not to notice that this deflection tactic is something we’ve seen before—most notably from former President Donald Trump.

But let’s get real. The media’s response to Biden’s treatment of the press has been tepid at best. If Trump had pulled these stunts, we’d be hearing about it nonstop, but Biden seems to get a pass. Meanwhile, Harris is out there trying to borrow from Trump’s playbook herself, even taking up his “no tax on tips” policy. Yet, this administration has been anything but friendly to the average American’s wallet.
