Biden Doesn’t Need Experts, He’s Got ‘Long-Honed Instincts’ – You Won’t Believe WaPo
You may wonder how President Biden continues to make so many bad decisions, one right after the other. The Washington Post just shed some major light on this issue, and things are much more clear now.
The paper seems committed to convincing us that the king really is wearing clothes, here’s one of their bylines: “The president often rejects the views of aides and experts in favor of his long-honed instincts.”
They really work this line of craziness, here’s another example: Biden has articulated a foreign policy doctrine as explicitly as any president in recent years, saying the United States will side with democracies in their global battle with autocracies. But ultimately, allies say, Biden is guided by instinct and experience — not sweeping theories or cut-and-dried principles.”
The Washington Post then quotes a real “expert,” Antony Blinken, the winless Secretary of State for Biden.
“He has very strong instincts. But they are deeply informed by experience, deeply informed by constant conversations, engagements, discussions, and debates with his senior team and with others,” Blinken said.
The esteemed paper is not done yet, it quotes Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy (Conn.) who believe it or not began describing Biden’s “fluency.”
“He’s got fluency on foreign policy that gives him confidence — he knows he can win the argument. It allows him to act with boldness and confidence, even when a decision he’s making may be ripe for political criticism,” Murphy said.
He. Said. This. With. A. Straight. Face.
The president often needs help knowing which direction to go from the podium, he rarely remembers the right names of his administration, and he makes us his own words.
Fluency?
How can Biden keep doing things like the botch Afghanistan withdrawal, the border chaos, and drag queens for school children?
He’s got a great “instinct” for things like this, who needs the experts?
