Biden Embarrasses America with Gaffes at the Queen’s Funeral

The eyes of the world have been on England this week as Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest after her 70 reigns. And unfortunately for America, many of those eyes were on President Joe Biden.

Many people were wondering if former President Donald Trump would be at the funeral service, and that created a whole lot of chatter as to whether he could be trusted at such a somber event.

He probably would have done better than Joe did.

The first thing that went wrong was Biden’s need to buck the Royal directives regarding the ceremony. Almost all the other world leaders and foreign dignitaries followed the prescribed protocol to get to the church. 

Prime ministers and kings were carried to the service on buses, but Biden sought permission to have his presidential limousine and motorcade. 

To add insult to injury, President Biden and his wife showed up to the service 30 minutes late. This is coming as a trademark for the president. He was tardy at the last global conference and was chastised by Boris Johnson. 

For an American president to do this at a royal funeral is more than embarrassing. 

And then when it came time to sign the official condolence guest book, Biden managed to get the spotlight. As he sat to fill in his words of respect, he had to use one of his “cheat sheets” to do it. 

Because they were late, they had to stand in the back of the church awkwardly and wait for an appropriate time to get to their seats, which were 14 rows back. 

Trump had some words for how far back they were sitting, and where he would be if still president. 

And last but not least, in pure Biden fashion, when He and Jill were climbing the stairs into the church sanctuary, the president decided to give one of the church clergy a poke in the stomach. 

Come on, Joe.
