Biden Is Begging Senate Dems Block Bi-Partisan Oil Bill Forcing Him To Put His Money Where His Mouth Is

Biden is pressuring Democrat senators to not support a bipartisan bill that would force Joe Biden to increase US oil production and put his money where his mouth is against Russia.
An examination of the Biden administration’s behavior shows that they didn’t expect gas prices to increase like they did nor did they anticipate what to do when it occurred.

Biden administration officials pressured some Democratic senators not to support bipartisan legislation by Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) that would ban oil and gas imports from Russia, Senate Democratic aides told Axios.
Manchin is also pushing Biden to increase domestic oil production and the regime knows if they put the screws to Russia it will force Biden to either drill or let food and gas prices become unaffordable. Gas prices are starting to get to the point where if they keep climbing the US economy is going to collapse. What’s crazy is all we have to do is increase domestic production and prices would come down but, Joe won’t do it.
“While Americans decry what is happening in Ukraine, the United States continues to allow the import of more than half a million barrels per day of crude oil and other petroleum products from Russia during this time of war,” Manchin said on Monday.
“This makes no sense at all and represents a clear and present danger to our nation’s energy security,” he said, noting that Russian President Vladimir Putin is using energy as a weapon “in an attempt to extort and coerce our European allies.”
”If there was ever a time to be energy independent, it is now. I am calling on the Administration and industry partners to take action immediately, up to and including banning crude oil imports from Russia,” he said. “To continue to ask other countries to do what we can do for ourselves in a cleaner way is hypocritical.”
However, Biden has decided to ignore Manchin and is begging Saudia Arabia, Iran, and Venezuela for oil.
What the Biden administration is doing is downright embarrassing.
