Biden’s Latest Desperate Move To ‘Tackle’ Gas Prices Is The Definition Of Insanity
Joe is doing the same thing over and over again and is expecting a different result.
President Biden has a problem bigger than the baby formula crisis (which is a big deal) and that is gas prices. In a few weeks, Americans are going to feel the full force of rising prices from retail goods to grocery bills.
The Biden administration is unwilling to do what it takes like increase domestic drilling or remove restrictions on refineries to lower prices. Even Germany has started to fire up old coal plants to offset the sanctions they imposed on Russia to prepare for the winter.
Instead, Joe has tried to “tackle” fuel prices by draining the country’s strategic oil reserves that are only supposed to be in case of an extreme emergency. On the two occasions, Biden released drained our reserves gas prices went up instead of down and so naturally Biden has decided to do it again.
The president is doing the same thing over and over again but it’s not working.
A statement from the US Department of Energy said, “The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) today announced an additional Notice of Sale of up to 40.1 million barrels of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). ”
Meanwhile, the national average for a gallon of gas continues to climb as the country marches toward $5 a gallon.
Ten states and the District of Columbia are already paying more than $5 a gallon, and California’s statewide average is surging to more than $6 a gallon.
National average jumped yesterday thanks to broad jump in #gasprices in #Florida. $4.597/gal national average this morning. Hoping the Great Lakes can make it through the week *without* a hike.

Apparently, someone in the Biden administration has a brain and a source leaked that restrictions may be removed on gasoline refineries to help them produce faster and cheaper.
But, I believe Fox news host Jessie Waters put it best…
