Masks For Thee But Not For Me: Biden’s Green Energy Czar John Kerry Caught Maskless On Commercial Flight

Failed Democrat presidential candidate, former Secretary of State, and now Biden’s “green energy” czar, John Kerry was caught defying a federal FAA mandate that anyone flying must wear a mask.

Kerry’s American Airlines flight took off from Boston and was headed to Washington, according to reports shortly after take-off while sitting in first-class, he took off his mask and began to read a book.

In early February American Airlines announced they have aligned with Biden’s mask mandate for commercial flights.

“Our mask requirement has been and will continue to be a critical component of our comprehensive effort to protect the health and well-being of our customers and team members during the pandemic,” said Seymour. “This federal mandate will provide additional support to our crew members who are working diligently to enforce our policy and further reinforce the safety of air travel during COVID-19.”

“As before, customers are required to wear masks for the duration of their journey, including at the airport and on board the aircraft. Children under the age of two will continue to be exempt from the mask requirement,” the release said. “Consistent with U.S. government directives, individuals who refuse to wear a mask may be denied boarding, removed from the aircraft or subject to penalties under federal law, in addition to being barred from future travel with American.”

American Airlines announced that they are “looking into” the mask violation.

“Masks are required on board our aircraft,” American Airlines said in a statement to The Independent. “Our team works diligently to make sure customers are wearing masks properly as they travel with us, and flight attendants pass through the cabin several times during flight to ensure compliance. The crew did not observe Secretary Kerry without a mask, and they were not alerted by other customers to a non-compliance issue. We continue to review the matter and we are reaching out to Secretary Kerry to underscore that all customers are expected to wear masks for the duration of their trip.”

John Kerry wouldn’t admit he was maskless and claims “if I dropped my mask to one ear on a flight, it was momentary. I wear my mask because it saves lives and stops the spread. It’s what the science tells us to do.”

In the image below Kerry doesn’t appear to be eating or drinking but he seems pretty comfy reading his book maskless.

Last year Senator Ted Cruz was criticized for not wearing a mask while on a commercial flight however, he in the process of drinking a cup of coffee. Mask mandates during flights allows those that are in the process of eating or drinking to take off their mask.
