California Politicians Are Seriously About To Make The USA’s Shortage Crisis Even Worse
California seems to want to be taking the rest of the country down with them and are preparing to make the supply chain issues inside the United States even worse.
That state’s coronavirus restrictions and employment shortages has caused a massive backup off the gold coast. There has also been reports that a cargo ship off the Orange County coast was responsible for causing an oil spill after their anchor hit an under water pipeline.
Instead of pushing to get people to work and lifting restrictions California Democrats want to ban cargo ships.
Congresswoman Rep. Michelle Steel from California 48th district who is a Republican has introduced a bill to stop cargo ships from anchoring off the coast of California for the next 180 days.
“Today I introduced legislation to ban cargo ships off the Orange County coast. Ships anchored for weeks and months off our coast likely caused last week’s oil spill. Reports show that the pipe “may have been struck several other times” by ship anchors off the coast,” the Congress woman wrote.
She then posted the SHIP Act that would prohibit cargo ships from idling or anchoring in the coastal waters of Southern California.
“It’s time to get the ports working again and get these ships moving and out of our waters,” she declared.

So riddle me this congresswoman, the ships are waiting to enter the harbor where the heck are they supposed to go? They have supplies that the country needs and your state is holding up the hold process and now they want to ban the ships.
It’s just mind blowing how stupid politicians are in California. Of course, this is the same state that has brownouts and is banning gas powered generators.
