CBS Finally Says the 2020 Laptop Story Is Real
It was all the way back in October of 2020 that the New York Post published a smoking gun article about having a laptop computer that was abandoned by Hunter Biden in a Delaware computer store. This came in the midst of an intense campaign for the presidency between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
The contents of the laptop were extremely negative for both Hunter Biden and his father, who would a month later be elected as president. The laptop revealed that Joe Biden was not disconnected from the corrupt business dealings his son was having with world leaders, in fact, it looked like there was evidence that the whole family was involved in criminal activity.
After that story was published by the Post, the left, the media and some tech corporations locked arms in defense and would not admit that any damning evidence was located.
The New York Times alleged reviewed the laptop and found no evidence that it had been tampered with, but it also claimed it could not verify the emails on it for some reason. They had no trouble verifying emails when it was against conservatives.
Not long after the initial Post article, there was a group of 51 former senior intelligence officials who actually signed a letter saying that this laptop story had all the “classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
Both Twitter and Facebook also ran to the defensive side. Facebook prevented the story from being shared and Twitter classified the laptop information as being the product of “hacking.” Really? The laptop was abandoned, the bill wasn’t paid to the repair shop, and the proprietor took possession. That doesn’t sound like “hacking.”
And now…two years later…CBS News is finally willing to say the laptop story was real and it’s bad for the Bidens.
I don’t think it’s even fair to say, “Better late than never.”
