China Takes A Page From America Left Wing Media Playbook To Spread Disinformation
China is taking a page right out of the left-wing media playbook in its attempt to shift blame over the Wuhan Virus.
Chinese state-run media posted, “racism is not the right tool to cover your own incompetence.”

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also warned America about China spreading “outlandish rumors” about the coronavirus outbreak.
Spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus said that Pompeo “conveyed strong U.S. objection to [China’s] efforts to shift blame for COVID-19 to the United States” in a phone call with Yang Jiechi, director of China’s Office of Foreign Affairs.
“The Secretary stressed that this is not the time to spread disinformation and outlandish rumors, but rather a time for all nations to come together to fight this common threat,” Ortagus said in a readout of the call.
Pompeo, also himself warned of China’s disinformation campaign, “Spoke today with Director Yang Jiechi about disinformation and outlandish rumors that are being spread through official PRC channels.”

Pompeo’s warning comes as the Chinese state-run media is questioning the origin of COVID-19 that was first discovered in Wuhan, China and have even claimed the US Army created the virus.
Health experts from around the world believe that the virus originated from animal-to-human transmission from a market in Wuhan. China. The country is coming under strong criticism for ignoring the outbreak and trying to cover it up, an action that has resulted in the infection spreading worldwide.
White House National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien echoed that thought and said, “Unfortunately, rather than using best practices, this outbreak in Wuhan was covered up. There’s lots of open-source reporting from China, from Chinese nationals, that the doctors involved were either silenced or put in isolation or that sort of thing, so that the word of this virus could not get out.”
