CNN Reporter Admits He Lied About Two Republican Senators
CNN doesn’t even care anymore, they are now openly spreading misinformation.
CNN political analyst and former Clinton White House official Joe Lockhart admitted on Wednesday that he intentionally made up a conversation about two Republican senators that he said were “stunned” about what they were learning from Rep. Schiff about the President.
Lockhart tweeted, “Overheard convo between two Republican Senators who only watch Fox News. ‘is this stuff real? I haven’t heard any of this before. I thought it was all about a server. If half the stuff Schiff is saying is true, we’re up shit’s creek. Hope the White House has exculpatory evidence.[‘]”

A few minutes later Lockhart added a second tweet and said, “Ok maybe I made up the convo, but you know that’s exactly what they’re thinking.”

The Republican National Committee Rapid Response Director Steve Guest immediately responded and posted that Washington Post writer Jennifer Rubin had promoted the fake news.
Is anyone surprised that @JRubinBlogger would push Joe Lockhart’s FAKE NEWS tweet to her followers? pic.twitter.com/YBuQaWp5e1

The President’s re-election campaign also reacted to Lockhart’s fake news.
CNN employee @joelockhart is knowingly spreading lies and disinformation online just for the fun of it. This is what CNN pays him to do.
4,600 retweets for the lie, only 389 retweets for the admission that he made it up. pic.twitter.com/bAxi3I7kVr

Despite the criticism, Lockhart doubled down on his tweet proving CNN doesn’t care about spreading misinformation.
It’s remarkable that the right wing nuts in the country can be so outraged by a comment on the Senate Floor, a tweet, or any commentary critical of the President but can muster no strong feelings about @potus selling out our national security for personal gain. On the level?

Seems like I poked the bear today. The purveyors of Pizzagate and the Seth Rich conspiracy are lecturing me on honesty. I told a joke, you guys are a destructive joke that is killing our democracy. Other than that, hope you’re enjoying the trial and have a nice evening

Lockhart was obviously upset about the heat he took for his little “joke.”
This is a Tweet from a Verified CNN Political Analyst.
Could you imagine if someone from Fox News Tweeted something like this?
Completely irresponsible.

CNN isn’t even pretending to care about the Truth anymore.

Lockhart’s behavior is an outrage and he should be fired but, CNN will probably give him a promotion. His behavior is just as much of an outrage as the newly discovered ties between Iran and Senator Warren’s son-in-law and the new documents that prove Schiff distorted “evidence” about Lev Parnas.
