CNN’s Brian Stelter & Others May Find Themselves Unemployed. They Just Couldn’t Leave Nick Sandmann Alone
The ego has been the downfall of many people and it just might be the downfall of CNN’s Brian Stelter and others who may find themselves unemployed in the very near future. He just couldn’t leave Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann alone.
Last week, news broke that Sandmann had settled a $250 million defamation lawsuit he filed over the coverage of a confrontation with a Native American elder who portrayed the teen as the aggressor. That incident followed the multimillion-dollar settlement agreement reached with CNN earlier this year.
However, CNN’s Brian Stelter and others may have breached the confidentiality agreement the network has with his client.
After the news broke about Sandmann’s settlement with the Washington Post Stelter reposted a tweet written by attorney Mark Zak (who writes for the Washington Post), who was commenting on much money Sandmann actually walked away with.
“Those with zero legal experience (as far as I can tell) should not be conjecturing on lawsuits they know nothing about. What kind of journalism is that?” Zaid asked. “I’ve litigated defamation cases. [Sandmann] was undoubtedly paid nuisance value settlement & nothing more.”
Sandmann’s attorney, Lin Wood saw the retweet from Stelter and accused the CNN host of breaching his network’s own confidentiality agreement with Sandmann.
“This retweet by @brianstelter may have cost him his job at @CNN. It is called breach of confidentiality agreement. Brian Stelter is a liar. I know how to deal with liars,” Wood tweeted with a screenshot of Stelter’s retweet.

Sandmann also took a shot at Stelter…
“I can’t decide if it’s worse to be Brian Stelter or believe Brian Stelter. He was never in any court hearing or meeting I was. So why does he act like he knows anything?” Sandmann added.

But, Stelter wasn’t alone CNN analyst Asha Rangappa also commented and wrote, “I’d guess $25k to go away.”
She may be in just as much trouble as Stelter for that post because Wood was taking names.
“Heads are going to roll at CNN or @N1ckSandmann is going to filing another lawsuit & reveal truth,” he wrote.
Zak deleted the tweet but, double down on his claim, “I delete about 30 percent of my tweets within 15 minutes. All are deleted within four months via Tweet Delete! Except really old tweets, which Tweet Delete doesn’t reach. But I stand by this theory! It’s the American way.”
The Washington Post – who wants nothing to do with this mess – told Fox News, “Dan’s tweet was taken down because it had no basis in fact. Dan has no knowledge about the agreement.”
But, Zak is not out of the woods either Sandmann’s attorney fired back, “This tweet by @MrDanZak may have cost him his job as a journalist at @washingtonpost It is called breach of confidentiality agreement. Dan Zak is a liar. I know how to deal with liars.”

The liberal elites just couldn’t take their medicine and leave Sandmann alone, now they are going to pay dearly.
