DeBlasio Just Added More To His Resume As Worst Mayor In America History

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is adding to the resume as the worst American mayor ever.

It was another very bloody weekend in New York City after 30 people were shot and ten were killed.

In the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the head, he was 1 of the seven people shot and killed on Sunday.

All de Blasio had to say was, “This is heartbreaking. His life was just beginning. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the families of these boys. No parent should ever have to bury a child,” NBC 4 New York reported.

An anti-violence march occurred in Brooklyn over the weekend but the movement seems to be making no impact.

Yesterday we participated in the stop the violence march and rally. This afternoon three people were shot on Vermont Street, @NYPD75Pct sadly one of the victims succumbed to his injuries. This senseless gun violence must stop!

NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea said, “When we have a day with 15 shootings in New York City, that’s not a success. There’s no other way to put that. There are still some challenges throughout New York City with repeat gun offenders, with the gang situation, with large groups on the street and how to tackle them in terms of alcohol and things of that nature.”

There were a total of seven recorded homicides on Sunday alone. All but one of them died by gunshot wounds, according to the NYPD. Apart from the 16-year-old boy, the homicides included a 32-year-old man in Brooklyn, a woman around 24 to 35, a 24-year-old man, and a 37-year-old man in the Bronx, a 40-year-old man in Queens and a 32-year-old man on Staten Island. Of the seven separate incidents, just one saw a suspect taken into custody.

In response of the violence in Brooklyn Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte and Council Member Farah Louis announced a new recreation center at Nostrand playground. The announcement did not give a construction timeline or an opening date.

I guess that’s the response we can expect from cities defunding their police departments. When people get shot politicians will be announcing the opening of recreation centers with no plans or details.
