Dem Congressman Spins New Conspiracy Over IG Firing After Pompeo ‘Dog Walking’ Investigation Falls Flat
Democrats and the media erupted on Friday when the Trump administration removed State Department Inspector General Steve Linick.
Linick is a partisan hack appointed by Obama and is under investigation for mishandling classified information. Linick exposed his bias during the Trump impeachment proceedings when he tried to pass along documents to feed the partisan narrative. The documents he passed to Democrats were deemed not relevant and were tossed.
When Linick found out he was going to be fired for other instances going back to 2019 he started a counter investigation into Mike Pompeo.
Two sources familiar with Linick’s ouster told the DCNF that while they were not certain of the precise reason that the watchdog was fired, he was under investigation last year by the Department of Defense’s inspector general for mishandling sensitive material.
Two congressional officials – probably from Schiff’s office – reported to NBC News that Linick was investigating if Secretary Pompeo made a staffer walk his dong, pick up his dry cleaning and make dinner reservations for Pompeo and his wife.

Keep in mind we don’t even know if that’s true, Linick could have just been making it up to give himself cover from getting fired.
So now Democrats have come up with a new conspiracy theory, a shady arms deals. On Monday Rep. Eliot Engel said:
“I’ve learned there may be another reason for IG Linick’s firing. His office was investigating—at my request—Trump’s phony emergency declaration so he could send Saudi Arabia weapons,” Engel tweeted Monday. “We don’t have the full picture yet, but it’s troubling that Sec Pompeo wanted Linick pushed out.”

Engel was fired because he mishandled classified documents and was a spy for the Obama Administration, the President has the authority to hire and fire whom he wants; case closed. The Democrats are just mad that whatever impeachment hoax they had planned for next just blew up.
