Dem Congressman ‘Russian Collusion’ Pusher Caught In Bed With Chinese Operative
A California Democrat Congressman and other Democrat politicians were infiltrated by a Chinese operative that bundled donations.
The Russia collusion pusher, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Cali) was a significant target of a Chinese operative female named Christine Fang.
Christine Fang’s operations ended during the transition between outgoing President Obama and incoming President Donald Trump however, the FBI is still sorting out the damage Fang did while operating in the US.
US intelligence officials don’t believe she received or passed on classified information, instead, she passed on unclassified information, influenced policy, and help certain officials get elected. In some cases, Fang involved herself romantically with her targets however officials would not say who.
In a well detailed investigative report, Axios reveals that Fang took part in most of Swalwell’s 2014 re-election bid. Swalwell’s office admitted they were directly aware of the activities Fang was doing on behalf of his campaign. An FEC investigation did not reveal illegal contributions. Fang also hired interns and staffers in Swalwell’s office according to two people who used to work for the Congressman.
In response to the Axios report, Swalwell’s office said, “Rep. Swalwell, long ago, provided information about this person — whom he met more than eight years ago, and whom he hasn’t seen in nearly six years — to the FBI. To protect information that might be classified, he will not participate in your story.”
The FBI became aware of Fang’s activity in 2015 and informed Swalwell who cut off all ties with Fang. Shortly, after the FBI warned Swalwell Fang traveled to China and never returned.
Fang infiltrated California politicians by enrolling as a student at a Bay Area university she then got involved in politics and started working her way up the political ladder.
US counterintelligence officials discovered Fang while investigating an alleged member of China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS) operating in the US.
U.S. officials first noticed Fang through surveillance they were conducting on a different person — a suspected MSS officer working undercover as a diplomat in the San Francisco consulate, a current U.S. counterintelligence official said.
The official added that both Fang and the suspected officer were focused on gathering political intelligence and conducting influence operations in the Bay Area. (Axios corroborated through U.S. State Department records that a Chinese diplomat with the same name as the suspected MSS officer was stationed in San Francisco during the period Fang was there).
Fang was then put on FBI surveillance.
“The fact that she was traveling around the country” getting close to U.S. politicians “was a big red flag,” said one of the officials. “She was on a mission.”
In mid-2015 Fang disappeared.
Funny for almost five years Democrats (especially California Democrats) have claimed Russia is the biggest threat to the US and pushed the Russian collusion hoax. Meanwhile, their offices have been infiltrated by the Chinese, influencing their policy and collecting intelligence.
