Democrat Governors Now Ignore CDC Recommendations Once Again Putting The Elderly At Risk
It is now a fact that the coronavirus is incredibly dangerous to elderly Americans or those with underlying medical conditions. In the spring we watched Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo killed 5% of the nursing home population because of his coronavirus policy.
Now that the vaccine is available the same Democrat leaders are continuing to campaign against the elderly.
Data coming out of Chicago, Illinois shows that those at most at risk of dying from the virus are not getting the vaccine. Raw data from Cook County health department shows they are have decided not to take care of the elderly. Cook County policy flies in the face of the CDC recommendations that health care workers and those over 75 should receive the vaccine first.
Vaccination distribution across age groups in Chicago is…puzzling. COVID deaths of elderly sick folks have been used to justify business & school closures, while the same population is evidently not a vaccination priority.

Now compare this to what Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is doing, he’s vaccinating the elderly first.
P.S. This is the vaccine distribution plan of a real leader.
So, the opposite of what we see the mayor of Chicago is doing.

In Democrat-run Chicago only 1.1% of those 70 or over have received the vaccine and 22 people over 80 have received the vaccine.
Just to show this is the starkest terms possible, see the raw numbers for age group recipients of the Covid vaccine in Chicago. Only 1.1% of all doses have been given to folks 70+
22 residents age 80+
Don’t want to potentially save too many ppl before 12/31, do we? https://t.co/eSNZTglKvF pic.twitter.com/pAPhxEWmwo

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s recent executive order prioritizes those over 65, which is one step above what the CDC recommended. Those aged 65 or over will be included in the first phase of the vaccination rollout plan, the CDC recommended that frontline essential workers and those age 75 or older be immunized first. However, DeSantis even went a step further and is letting hospital providers vaccinate people they feel are “extremely vulnerable” to the coronavirus regardless of age.
Last weekend on CNN the draconian governors appeared during a segment to pat each other on the back. Those governors have stripped Americans of their civil liberties not one of them could hold a candle to how DeSantis has guided Flordia.
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan says he is proud of the work governors did in response to Covid-19 despite the “divisiveness and dysfunction” in Washington. “The governors didn’t always agree but we sure did try to come together and help one another throughout this crisis.” #CNNSOTU pic.twitter.com/5BaKKKW7Aw
