Dems Calling For ‘Universal Meals’ Because Hunger In America Is Like Being In A ‘Refugee Camp’
Apparently, being in America where even our poor are considered some of the richest people in the world its as bad as a “refugee camp in Kenya.”
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar who’s is under criminal investigation claims that conditions for America’s children are that of a Kenyan refugee camp. She is now calling for “universal school meals” for students.
“11 million children in the U.S., a nation of tremendous wealth, face the kind of hunger I experienced in a refugee camp in Kenya. It’s unacceptable that our students go hungry and into debt for not having lunch money. Children’s futures depend on making school meals universal,” posed Omar on Twitter.

I have a question for Rep. Omar, how are America’s children starving when our own Center For Disease Control reports that the most at-risk group for obesity is minorities in the lowest economic bracket?
A CDC study that was conducted at the end of former President Obama’s reign reported:
Hispanics (25.8%) and non-Hispanic blacks (22.0%) had higher obesity prevalence than non-Hispanic whites (14.1%).
Obesity prevalence was 18.9% among children and adolescents aged 2-19 years in the lowest income group, 19.9% among those in the middle-income group, and 10.9% among those in the highest income group.
That was after former first lady Michelle Obama tried to starve them with her school lunch program.
School Districts have a discount lunch program and many students under a certain income threshold do not pay for school lunches. Parents also need to be responsible enough to feed their own kids, it’s not the school’s job to feed your kid; Americans have abdicated too much responsibility on the school system.
This is also another program that Democratic Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has been proposing along with “free” everything else.
“‘School lunch debt’ should not exist in the wealthiest country in the history of the world,” Bernie Sanders wrote .. “When we are in the White House, we are going to provide year-round, free universal school meals.”
