Dems Panic, Their worst Fears Are About To Come True, ‘I Don’t Know What The Plan B Is’
The government is headed into a shutdown and the Democrats control the White House, the House, and the Senate. They can try to blame the Republicans but it’s going to fall on deaf ears, they have constantly reminded us they run the show.
“I don’t know what the plan B is… Plan B is to have Republicans step up and be responsible,” Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) said.
Really? Why? Isn’t the Democrat party supposed to be the “adults” in the room? They have the majority any shutdown is the fault of the Democrat party.
“So then what’s the plan?” Sen. Jon Tester (D-MO) told the publication. “We’ve got to pay our bills,” he added. “This is asinine… People need to remove their heads from their lower extremities.”
Democrats would need ten Republicans to bail them out but that’s not going to happen according to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
“This is a totally Democratic government. They have an obligation to raise the debt ceiling and they will do it,” Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said.
.@LeaderMcConnell: “We have a unified Democrat government that has decided to govern alone. They cannot put partisan ambitions ahead of basic duties. The party-line authors of this reckless taxing and spending spree will be the party-line owners of raising the debt limit.” https://t.co/BWcQqMdw15

“You don’t have to filibuster anything. The Democrats want to increase the debt limit. They don’t want to shut down the government. They come to the floor. They got the 50 votes to do it,” Grassley explained.
What has the Democrats in a panic is a poll that revealed they would be blamed if the federal government shut down. The national poll found that only 16% would blame Republicans. Plus they want bipartisan cover for raising the debt ceiling knowing that inflation is going to continue to rise.
Should the Democrats fail to get it together (let’s hope they don’t) federal agencies must cease all non-essential discretionary functions.
Federal agencies to be informed by the @WhiteHouse today to begin preparations for a US government shutdown, reports @washingtonpost. https://t.co/k7wsQgkjMJ

We could only hope that the government shutdown lasts another three years.
How about we shut down the gov to slow the spread of inflation?
Don’t worry you guys — it’ll only be for 15 days
Trust us 😉
