Dems Tried to Censor Robert F. Kennedy Jr. While Investigating Censorship – Watch

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was met with censorship attempts by Democrats at a recent censorship hearing.

Kennedy, a lawyer and environmental activist, was invited to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on the topic of censorship. However, Democrats on the committee tried to prevent him from speaking about his views on the COVID-19 vaccines.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) moved to shift the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government hearing on Thursday to executive session “because Mr. Kennedy has repeatedly made despicable anti-Semitic and anti-Asian comments as recently as last week.”

Wasserman Schultz cited a House rule against testimony found to “defame, degrade, or incriminate”  any person, which would allow the committee an aside to determine whether to allow such testimony during the open hearing.

Kennedy is a vocal critic of the COVID-19 vaccines, and he has been banned from social media platforms for spreading misinformation about them. Democrats on the committee tried to prevent him from speaking about the vaccines by claiming that he was spreading misinformation.

“COVID-19, there is an argument that it is ethnically targeted. COVID-19 attacks certain races disproportionately,” Kennedy claimed, according to The New York Post. “COVID-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.”

However, Kennedy was able to testify about his views on the vaccines, and he gave a powerful speech in which he warned about the dangers of censorship.

“We are living in a time when the truth is being censored,” Kennedy said. “People are being silenced for speaking out against the government. This is a dangerous trend, and it must be stopped.”

Kennedy’s speech was met with applause from Republicans on the committee, but Democrats were silent. They were clearly uncomfortable with Kennedy’s message, and they did not want to hear him speak about the dangers of censorship.
