DeSantis Says ‘Not a Chance’ to Invitation from ‘The View’ – Watch
So “The View” sent a request to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to be a guest on their radical far-left “news” show. The show is know for their left-over hosts, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, saying crazy things about conservatives, and DeSantis has been one of their favorite recent targets.
They have called DeSantis a “fascist” and a murderer (this is in reference to his COVID policies. And just recently, Behar accused the governor of believing there are “good” people within the nazis party. This comment caused the show to be forced into offering an “apology.”
Most people would agree that “The View” is not a place that deserves respect or an appearance from someone of the stature of DeSantis.
And the governor would agree, according to a response from the deputy press secretary of DeSantis. In fact, Brian Griffen, took some time to craft just the “right” kind of response from the governor. He dug up quotes from past shows, including one where Joy Behar called the governor a “homocidal sociopath.” Sunny Hostin has called him a “fascist and bigot.” In another show, Ana Navarro said DeSantis is “anti-black,” and then compared him to dictators in Venezuela and Nicaragua.
Do you really think DeSantis would subject himself to such low brow TV?
Mainstream media still believes they have some kind of privilege that allows them to drag a person through the muck and mire and still believe that they have the right to ask them to join in. And this is all made worse by dim Republicans who believe they can somehow rise above the mud and stay clean.
This same storyline is repeated over and over again on CNN. Jake Tapper seems to have plenty Republicans who think it is worth the beating they will take from him.
Let’s learn the lesson DeSantis has already learned…all press is not good press.
Thanks Ron for staying above the fray.
