Incoming GOP Senator Hints He’s Going To Turn Washington On It’s Head During January 6th Vote
It seems one GOP Senator may defy McConnell and stand for President Trump.
President Donald Trump retweeted a video of the incoming Alabama senator’s recent comments at a Georgia rally in the video Tuberville indicated his plan to challenge the Electoral College with a Republican congressman.
Newsweek reported:
Trump’s retweet closely coincided with his appearance on “Uncovering the Truth,” a radio talk show series featuring Rudy Giuliani, on Sunday morning. Giuliani, Trump’s personal attorney and the former mayor of New York City, became a leading member of the president’s legal team as his campaign pursued numerous lawsuits.
“I spoke to a great gentleman, Tommy Tuberville, last night,” Trump said Sunday. “And he is so excited. He said…he said, ‘You made me the most popular politician in the United States.’ He said, ‘I can’t believe it.’ He’s great. Great senator.”
“It’s impossible. It is impossible, what happened. But we’re going to get that all corrected. I’m going to tell you: don’t give up on him,” said Tuberville
“Just wait…well, you see what’s coming,” Tuberville replied. “You’ve been reading about it in the House. We’re going to have to do it in the Senate.”
Earlier this month, Republican Rep. Mo Brooks, also from Alabama has said he will challenge the electoral vote count on January 6th. Should one Republican senator join a GOP congressman it would force the House and Senate to determine if the electoral votes from certain states are valid.
The left is starting to get nervous, which may be why they are drumming up this nonsense about Trump staging a coup. Should Republicans thwart the Electoral College results, the media may try to call it a coup.
It would be hard we know Antifa would start burning down half the country, the President would have to call on the military to quell the violence. Meanwhile, the press will claim everything that Trump is doing is a military staged coup.
