Dirty Jobs Mike Rowe Took a Stab at Cleaning Up the Swamp…He Could Not Be More Right About the Left!
Maybe the guy who hosted the TV “Dirty Jobs” has some insight regarding cleaning up the swamp in D.C. Mike Rowe just appeared on “Fox and Friends Tuesday morning and he talked about the craziness all around us due to Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act.
The “Dirty Jobs” host took a stab at the misnomered bill with the same “nuts and bolts” approach he has taken on his TV show.
Rowe, admired by millions of everyday Americans, sees clearly the chances that this act will reduce inflation. In fact, he believes it will likely increase inflation. And he is tired of the political double-talk.
Rowe asked,“Can we have bills that actually do what they say in their title?”
He continued: “Now, if the Inflation Reduction Act truly reduces inflation, then we can start with a conversation about the nuts and bolts of the bill. But we’ve come to the point where nothing actually means what it says. And that gets us into an emperor’s new clothes kind of mentality, where it’s not one kid in the crowd going, ‘Hey, that guy’s naked.’
It’s the whole country going, ‘Wait. Again with this? Again with the name of a thing that doesn’t seem to reflect the thing?’ And so we got to peel back the layers and we have to look at it. And then we have to have the conversation: How does this impact the middle class?”
The Democrats have already started so badly. They have lied to the nation saying that this legislation won’t increase taxes on tens of millions of middle-class Americans. And they are not owning up to the job losses and increasing big government.
“What the heck do I know?”, Rowe asked, in his everyman way, “If it lives up to its name, it’ll impact them in a positive way. If it doesn’t, it’s another pie in the face.”
Rowe then hit the nail on the head trying to understand the number of people who are unemployed compared to the number of jobs that are open.
“And we still can’t get it into our heads that the existence of all of that opportunity must mean something. It must say something about who we are as a people and what we’re elevating in terms of work. And I’m afraid what it says is not really good.
What it says, in part, that is “not really good,” is the Democrat Party has spent six decades breeding “takers,” disincentivizing large segments of society from working for a living, while at the same time condemning “makers” — particularly those who make “too much,” and demonizing creators of jobs, all the while devising scheme after scheme with one commonality: massive wealth redistribution.”
Wow…Rowe could not be more right about the left.
