Election Mayhem In Philadelphia After Equipment Is Stolen & Loopholes Used To Strip Poll Watcher Of Their Rights
Philadelphia police have opened an investigation after someone stole an employee’s laptop and USB drives at a warehouse that store election machine equipment. The stolen equipment belonged to an employee who works for the company that provides voting machines for the city.
The break-in happened on Tuesday night at a warehouse on the 3500 block of Scotts Lane.
Officials said the laptop did not contain election materials on it and can’t program the election machines. The USB drives do contain sensitive data however, officials claim they are encrypted with multiple layers of security.
When the company learned of the break-in the employee’s corporate user account was disabled, claimed Nick Custodio, the deputy commissioner for Chairwoman Lisa Deeley, who is the city’s top election official.
“Since being informed of the incident, I immediately committed to making necessary police resources available to investigate this incident and find the perpetrators. I have also committed to the City Commissioners additional resources to provide enhanced security at the warehouse going forward,” said Mayor Jim Kenney. “This matter should not deter Philadelphians from voting, nor from having confidence in the security of this election.”
Election officials in Philadelphia are also using loopholes to block poll watchers for the Trump campaign.
Officials in Philadelphia are also using satellite locations to prohibit poll watchers from monitoring them. According to CBS News “poll watchers don’t have the rights are satellite locations as they do at traditional polling places on Election Day.”
Philadelphia election officials are keeping poll watchers away from satellite locations through a loophole. One of those locations was at City Hall In Philadelphia where Mike Roman, Election Security staff member for the Trump campaign was kicked out. He was told City Hall is not a public building.

President Trump said during the first debate that “bad things happen in Philadelphia.” He was right.
