Ex-CIA Chief Says Blinken Spurred Bid To Discredit Hunter Biden Laptop Story
In a new interview, former CIA Director Mike Morell said that Secretary of State Antony Blinken played a key role in the Biden administration’s efforts to discredit the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Morell said that Blinken, who was then deputy national security adviser, was “very concerned” about the laptop story and its potential impact on the 2020 election. He said that Blinken urged the CIA to “do everything we can to discredit this story” and to “make sure it doesn’t get out.”
Morell’s allegations are significant because they provide further evidence of the Biden administration’s efforts to cover up Hunter Biden’s controversial activities. The laptop story, which first emerged in October 2020, has been largely ignored by the mainstream media, but it has been corroborated by multiple sources, including the New York Post.
The laptop contains emails and other documents that suggest Hunter Biden used his father’s position as vice president to enrich himself. The emails also show that Hunter Biden was involved in business deals with corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs.
“Based on Morell’s testimony, it is apparent that the Biden campaign played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election,” Rep Jim Jordan wrote in a letter to the Secretary of State.
The Biden administration has denied any wrongdoing, but the evidence suggests otherwise. Morell’s interview provides further evidence of the Biden administration’s efforts to cover up Hunter Biden’s activities, and it raises serious questions about the Biden family’s ethics and judgment.
The laptop story is just one example of the Biden administration’s efforts to cover up its own misdeeds. The administration has also been accused of covering up the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, the withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the Biden family’s business dealings in China.
In addition to Morell’s allegations, other former intelligence officials have also come forward to say that the Biden administration tried to suppress the laptop story. In a recent interview, former National Security Council official Fiona Hill said that the administration “tried to kill the story” and that it was “very concerned” about its potential impact on the election.
Deep State Operative Mike Morell worked with Biden Campaign staffer Tony Blinken to produce the letter claiming the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation with the purpose of Joe Biden using it in presidential debate. This is a huge scandal.
