FBI Finally Says Something About Hunter Biden’s Laptop

All we’ve heard from Washington D.C. is crickets when it comes to any information on Hunter Biden’s laptop. So this word from the FBI is startling.
Officials from the Federal Bureau of Investigation responded publicly to claims made by Meta CEO and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. They said that it “routinely notifies” social media companies of potential threats.
This came after Zuckerberg did an interview podcast with Joe Rogan. The Facebook founder told the host that his company’s restrictions surrounding the New York Post’s 2020 article on Hunter Biden were based on FBI misinformation warnings.
The Post’s article correctly reported that information recovered from a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden included emails that indicated that President Joe Biden used his position and power as then-vice president to aid his son’s business dealing with Ukraine.
Zuckerberg claimed that Facebook suppressed the stories on the social media platform that focused on the Post’s article on the First Son and his laptop because the FBI warned the company to be a way of potentially polarizing content.
“The FBI has provided companies with foreign threat indicators to help them protect their platforms and customers from abuse by foreign malign influence actors,” the agency said in a statement.
After Zuckerberg made his comments to Rogan, some speculated that Facebook censored information that would have made the Biden family look bad to voters just before the 2020 election.
“[The FBI] routinely notifies U.S. private sector entities, including social media providers, of potential threat information, so that they can decide how to better defend against threats,” according to the agency.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said that big tech interfered with the election so that results came out favorable for Democrats. He wrote in a tweet, “FBI & Facebook/Big Tech interfered in 2020 election Facebook acted as an arm of govt.,”
