Flipped! Obama Backed Candidates Get Their Clocked Cleaned In Special Elections Destroying Dem Narrative
Candidates back by President Trump crushed all expectations and won two big special elections.
Republicans, former Navy combat pilot Mike Garcia is expected to take former disgraced Democrat Katie Hill’s California seat and Republican Tom Tiffany shellacked his opponent in Wisconsin.
Garcia is leading Democrat Christy Smith 55.9% to 44.1% however, California isn’t expected to update the tally until Friday. The California race was almost all mail-in ballots because of the virus outbreak and stay at home policies.
What’s more important is that this is a district that President Trump lost by six percentage points and is deep blue. What you may not have heard is that former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and other Democrats lined up to support to Smith and they failed.
The President touted Garcia’s victory on Wednesday.
Big News: Tom Tiffany of the Great State of Wisconsin has just become Congressman Tom Tiffany. He will do a FANTASTIC job for the people of Wisconsin, and the United States. Congratulations!

Smith, who apparently uses “common core math,” thinks ten points is a close race and said the contest was “clearly too early to call.” Garcia said that he will not declare victory until all the votes are counted but, “things are looking very encouraging.”
Republicans in California were cautious they remember what happened in 2018 when their lead was whipped away by harvested ballots that trickled in. However, even the liberal congressman from California Rep. Ted Leui feels that Garcia will be declared the winner. According to the New York Times Garcia has a 12% lead and 76% off the district has reported.
On Tuesday evening Smith conceded the race flipping a district that has been blue since 1998.
I support vote by mail because it’s a safer alternative during a pandemic. The anecdotal evidence in CA (Dem underperformed) & WI (Dems overperformed) suggests it is not clear whether vote by mail benefits GOP or Dems. An election that is heavily vote by mail may benefit GOP. https://t.co/3JVtTKSe44

The GOP also won big in Wisconsin Fox News Reports:
Republican Tom Tiffany, a state senator endorsed by Trump, easily won a special congressional election Tuesday.
…
Zunker, president of the Wausau School Board, was trying to become the first Native American from Wisconsin elected to Congress. Zunker pulled in big-name endorsements, including from U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., but the numbers were against her.Trump won Wisconsin by less than a point, but carried the district by 20 points, in 2016. Trump-backed Tiffany in the race, but due to the pandemic was unable to campaign in person for him.
During a time when – according to the media – President Trump is more unpopular than ever, the people that he supported won big. If California is any indication of what is to come get ready for a giant red wave.
