Forget The Coronavirus: Staggering Data From Trump Rallies Is The Real Reason Dems Want Them Shut Down, It Scares Them To Death
During a rally in North Charleston, South Carolina 31,000 people signed up to attend and the Trump Campaign kept every single one of their names. The campaign has identified 1.4 million potential voters through their rallies and that has Democrats very nervous and that’s not all the Trump campaign has identified. It’s one of the main reasons Democrats like Rep. Jackie Speir are trying to use the coronavirus to shut down Trump rallies.
Democrats believe (not using data) that they can actually turn out more new voters or flip Republicans however the data coming in is not only staggering but disputes that idea.
Politico reports the way the Trump campaign is collecting the data is different than most campaigns and it helps them appeal to voters in a way other campaigns have not been able to do.
One Republican digital strategist simply dubbed Trump’s additional names “hidden voters,” because they can’t be identified by other candidates from traditional voter lists. “Everyone generally has access to the same data,” the person said. “But these people are showing up and the other side can’t see them. They’re new voters that are secret.”
Democrat strategist Doug Thornell admitted that Trump is taking what former President Barack Obama did during his re-election campaign and putting it on steroids.
Of the 1.4 million names collected at rallies, 126,000 of them haven’t voted in the last four elections and another 168,000 did not vote in three of the last four elections.
That’s just the start…
According to the Trump campaign, more than 26% of the 158,632 people that requested tickets to the Trump rally with party-switching Rep. Jeff Van Drew were Democrats and 25% of those that RSVP’d for the February New Hampshire were Democrats.
If you are a Democrat it’s no wonder why you want the rallies shut down.
Some Democrats are wary of the data relying on their polling that shows the President getting abysmal support among Democrats. Of course, that’s probably the same polling method they used in 2016 that told them Hillary was going to win. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if Democrat that are supporting President Trump are not participating in Democrat polling and why would they, Democrats are so rabid they are probably afraid.
“The percent of Democrats who approve of Donald Trump hovers around the margin of error of zero because he’s not done one thing in four years to win over any Hillary Clinton voters,” said Democratic strategist Jesse Ferguson, who worked for Clinton. “Claiming that one-out-of-five of his rally attendees are Democrats is like claiming he has the largest inauguration crowd in history. Period.”
Again these Democrat strategists gave no data to support that voters are moving to support their candidates. One senior Trump campaign said it right, “Data, data, data. We are a data-driven campaign. It lets us understand who our Trump supporters are and who are our voters.”
