Fox Double Teams Against the Latest Biden Lie – Watch

Once again, maybe the hardest job on the planet belongs to the White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. She has the task of trying to defend or make sense of President Joe Biden’s policies and words. And sometimes, she has to try and untangle his lies.  

On Tuesday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) talked about the chaos at our southern border saying it was not “secure,” even though the Biden team declared that it was. He invited the president to travel with him to the border to see the disaster for himself. 

On Wednesday, Peter Doocy from Fox followed up on McCarthy’s comments by asking Jean-Pierre whether Biden would be taking McCarthy up on his invitation since Biden has never been to the border since becoming president. 

DOOCY: “Kevin McCarthy says that he invited president Biden down to the border. How does the president RSVP? We know the president has never been down to the border…”

KJP: “He’s been there. He’s been to the border.”

DOOCY: “When did he go to the border?”

Jean-Pierre just quickly repeated herself hoping to believe it, “He’s been there. He’s been to the border.”

Doocy could hold in his surprise since that was blatantly a lie. “When did he go to the border?”

Jean-Pierre wouldn’t respond again and avoided the question claiming he took action at the border. But all that dialogue was already out and just hanging in the room.

About a year ago, Biden said that he hadn’t been to the border because he hadn’t “had a whole hell of a lot of time.” 

But Biden has spent 268 days on vacation so far in his first term. 

Fox’s Bill Melugin, called the lie a lie, “This is not true. President Biden has never visited the border in his entire political career. He drove past the border in the El Paso, TX area while on the campaign trail in 2008.” 

You can’t make this stuff up.
