Fox’s Peter Doocy Calls Biden’s Bluff and Makes Mincemeat of John Kirby – You Gotta See It!
President Joe Biden got a couple of minutes of relief from his doomsday presidency when he was able to announce that America took out al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in a drone strike.
But it didn’t take long for some people to start asking some really good questions about what in the world this maniac was doing in Kabul, living in the lap of luxury in a home owned by a senior Taliban official.
And it didn’t take long for people to remember what took place almost exactly a year ago when we botched the pull-out from Afghanistan. What we seemed to have done is leave a wide-open door for al-Qaeda to once again come to life.
The spokesperson for all of these questions seems to be Fox’s Peter Doocy. He let it all loose on National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby.
“You’re saying that you’ve always known that there’s a small number of Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. President Biden said, ‘what interest do we have in Afghanistan at this point with al-Qaeda gone?’” Doocy asked.

Well, here is the first major problem…Biden said Al-Qaeda was gone, but they were not. In fact, they were being harbored by the Taliban…the people we handed the country over to.
Kirby was frantically trying to make some kind of sane response. But he just couldn’t get away from the president saying they were gone and would not be able to use the country as a safe harbor.
Doocy wasn’t finished, “The Taliban was harboring the world’s most wanted terrorist. You guys gave a whole country to a bunch of people that are on the FBI most wanted list. What did you think was going to happen?”
Again, Kirby sputtered.

KIRBY: "I take issue with the premise we gave a whole country to a terrorist group…" pic.twitter.com/Tb6FW4FdL1

Finally, Doocy asked that now that we know the Taliban isn’t keeping its word to not let al-Qaeda back, what is the administration going to do about it?
All Kirby could say is that the White House wouldn’t telegraph their response.
Biden just had about a minute of relief…
