George Soros Is Working To Take Down A Company To Hurt Trump’s Re-Election
In 2016 one of the things that got President Trump elected was the amazing job his campaign did with organizing people on Facebook. The donations and news that his campaign put out bypassed all other mediums and shocked the media when he was elected.
Since the election Democrats have been trying to get their claws into Facebook who has over the past four years placated to them. However, when it came to political ads (a place were Trump schooled the Dems) Facebook said they are staying neutral. That infuriated the “Left” who wanted to have the ability to censor the President’s ads.
For the second time this year the “dark lord” himself, George Soros has attacked Facebook in an effort to reorganize the company. In a letter to the editor to the Financial Times Soros attacked Facebook leaders Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg. Soros wants the two officials removed from the control of the company.
Mr. Soros even alleged that Zuckerberg is working with President Trump in a “mutual assistance arrangement” to help him get reelected through advertising.
“Facebook does not need to wait for government regulations to stop accepting any political advertising in 2020 until after the elections on November 4,” he said. “If there is any doubt whether an ad is political, it should err on the side of caution and refuse to publish.”
Soros said it is “unlikely” Facebook would refuse to publish political ads.
“Therefore, I repeat my proposal, Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg should be removed from control of Facebook,” he added.
Last month Soros published an op-ed in the New York Times also claiming that President Trump has a “special relationship” with Zuckerberg.
A spokesperson from Facebook did respond to Soros and said, “The notion that we are aligned with any one political figure or party runs counter to our values and the facts. We continue making unprecedented investments to keep our platform safe, fight foreign interference in elections around the world, and combat misinformation.”
The Left is coming for Facebook because they can’t control it, Trump knows how to use, and Democrats don’t. Soros is a powerful man and is jumping in to hinder the President from using Facebook.
