George W. Bush Officials Are Doing Everything They Can To Get Biden Elected…Rhino Alert!
Officials from the former George W. Bush administration are doing everything they to get former Vice President Joe Biden elected.
The former Bush officials are dropping big money and have formed a super PAC to support Joe Biden’s attempt to become Americans 46th President.
Filings from the Federal Election Commission show a group called 43 Alumni For Biden, was created this week. The documents from the filling show that Treasury Department official Karen Kirksey is the custodian of records and the group’s treasurer.
The super PAC has not issued a statement regarding how they plan on helping Biden win the 2020 election.
Since the start of the pandemic, Bush has begun to wade back into the political water when he made statements regarding the coronavirus and recently made a public statement about the death of George Floyd.
Bush, with the former first lady, Laura Bush, said they were “anguished by the brutal suffocation of George Floyd and disturbed by the injustice and fear that suffocate our country.”
“Yet we have resisted the urge to speak out because this is not the time for us to lecture. It is time for us to listen. It is time for America to examine our tragic failures — and as we do, we will also see some of our redeeming strengths,” the pair added.
The former President also condemned widespread looting and violent unrest, saying: “Looting is not liberation, and destruction is not progress.”
The super PAC was launched as members of Bush’s policy group attacked the President for halting immigration. Due to record unemployment the President halted visa programs so that Americans could fill the vacant jobs as the country begins to reopen.
The most important thing to remember in this is that we don’t want [Trump’s] temporary policy to become permanent immigration policy,” economic director Laura Collins said a video posted on the center’s Twitter account. She continued:
We know immigrants are good for the economy. We know they’re good for our culture. We know they’re in this fight with us together, and we’re going to meet them working with us side by side in any recovery after the pandemic is over.”
The Bush Center has also joined a group of Forbes 500 companies that have relied on visa programs to get cheap labor from countries overseas. President Trump’s policy is going to require them to hire Americans first.
