GOP Actually Does It…Impeachment Files – Watch

Two Republican lawmakers have filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, alleging that they have abused their power and violated the Constitution.

The articles of impeachment were filed by Rep. Andy Ogles of Tennessee and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia. The articles were filed after Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) explained that there are audio tapes of the conversations that the foreign national Burisma executive had with Hunter and Joe Biden about the “bribery scheme” that the Burisma executive kept as an “insurance policy.”

The articles of impeachment allege that Biden abused his power by pressuring Ukraine to investigate his political rival, former President Donald Trump, and that Harris obstructed justice by refusing to comply with a subpoena from the House Judiciary Committee.

The first article alleges that Biden has failed to comply with “congressional requests for information and documentation, violating a personal commitment to transparency.”

The second article alleges that Biden has failed to properly defend the United States because of the disaster at the border “in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, directly facilitated the ongoing southern border crisis and endangered the people of the United States,” and it laid out some of the facts to support that charge.

The articles against Harris focus on her handling of the border disaster, alleging “extraordinary incompetence in the execution of her duties and responsibilities and an indifference to Americans suffering as a result of America’s ongoing southern border crisis.”

Ogles said in a statement that Biden “has abused his power and violated the Constitution.” He said that Biden’s actions “have undermined the rule of law and endangered our national security.”

Greene said in a statement that Harris “has obstructed justice and refused to comply with a congressional subpoena.” She said that Harris’ actions “have undermined the rule of law and endangered our democracy.”
