GOP Congressman And Senator Obliterate MSNBC Host After Embassy Attack Comment
As President Trump quickly acted in quelling the violence after the Embassy attack in Baghdad, the left was miffed that there was no conspiracy and America was successful.
MSNBC host Joy Reid started claiming that this was Trump’s Benghazi, as hundreds of Iranian-backed protestors stormed the US Embassy and the Iraqi security forces were unable to stop them. Many of the Iraqi protesters were carrying Hezbollah flags which is known to be supported by Iran.
President Trump sent in over 100 marines and AH-64 Apache gunships to protect Americans the Embassy and on January 1, 2020, over 600 soldiers from the 82nd airborne were sent to Iraq.

US secretary of Defense Mark Esper said, “We have taken appropriate force protection actions to ensure the safety of American citizens…and to ensure our right of self-defense. We are sending additional forces to support our personnel at the Embassy.”

Trump Jr. immediately hit back at Reid saying, “Trump’s Benghazi” was handled with decisive action, like an actual leader would respond. The response (since they actually bothered to respond, unlike Obama/Crooked) was really the anti-Benghazi response!”
But, Trump Jr. wasn’t alone, Senator Ted Cruz wasn’t very happy with Reid’s post and said, “What’s wrong with you? Is partisan hatred really that deep? We root for American soldiers, not against them.”

Cruz wasn’t the only lawmaker to trash Reid, Congressman Lee Zeldin said, “There will be no Benghazi sequels today or any other day under the Trump administration. If that disappoints you, check yourself.”

He is exactly right, it is disgusting that those on the left would root for Americans being attack by an out of control mob. They are so mad that President Trump didn’t just go to bed like Obama did and hate the fact that President Trump took care of business. I expect this from the left, they have a history of rooting against American soldiers going back to the Vietnam War.
