GOP Congressman Starts Their Own Impeachment Proceeding, On Democrat Committee Chairman

Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) has initiated legislation on Tuesday to remove House Judiciary Committee Chairmen Jerry Nadler (D-NY) to cease the House Democrats impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

The legislation introduced by Gooden would formally recognize that Nadler’s impeachment proceeding is illegal and to remove him from power.

Congressman Gooden stated that the Judiciary Committee must receive authorization to begin impeachment proceedings; however, in July HR 498 was overwhelmingly rejecting. However, Nadler has continued to declare that he is “impeaching the president-right now.” Gooden said in a statement:

“In recent days Democrats have sanctimoniously declared their allegiance to the rule of law. I encourage them to follow those rules and hold Chairman Nadler accountable for breaking them.”

The latest and greatest impeachment effort has occurred after a report was discovered that President Trump reportedly urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to look into former Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden. Of course, the report came from someone who never heard the phone and only had knowledge that it occurred.

Rep. Gooden also said, “By law, he may not launch impeachment proceedings until the full House votes for him to do so. This attempted coup against a duly-elected, sitting president is unprecedented and must be stopped,” Gooden added in his statement. “I urge the Majority to move immediately to have him stripped of his chairmanship and that any accomplices on the Judiciary Committee not be considered as a replacement.”

Not only are the Democrats launching an impeachment inquiry-based off a false narrative, but they are also doing it illegally. On Tuesday House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that she will allow an official inquiry into impeachment. Pelosi said:

“Today I’m announcing the House of Representatives is moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry,”This week, the president has admitted to asking the president of Ukraine to take actions which would benefit him politically,” Pelosi said. “The actions of the Trump presidency revealed dishonorable facts of the president’s betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of national security and betrayal of the integrity of our elections.”
