Update: Biden’s Conservative Monitoring Program Has Already Begun, Here’s Who’s Doing Their Dirty Work
Earlier this week we reported that the DHS is trying to skirt around the constitution and are trying to figure out how to legally use private companies to monitor conservatives.
Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi have uncovered that this is already being done.
It is starting at one of the most unlikely places, The Intercept.
Ironically, The Intercept was founded by Glenn Greenwald during the Snowden story to defend privacy rights & oppose the “security state.” Now that Greenwald has left The Intercept – after a messy break up because he dared complain about liberals – it has been taken over by the group it was founded to combat.
The Intercept announced that they got personal data from Gab users & are sifting through the data to look for extremists.
In an email to members The Intercept wrote that a hacker obtained 65 gigabytes of data from the social media site Gab and it was shared with them, they are now investigating the data.
“Right Now, The Intercept is digging through this massive data dump to uncover everything we can about these violent white supremacists. Will you chip in and help our team continue its report on the extreme right wing?”
Bold Adversarial Journalism: serving as mouthpieces for the CIA and acting as monitoring cops for the FBI. Liberal political hacks ruin everything. The Intercept is shit.

In other words a progressive minded hacker stole personal private information of users, gave it to “journalists” to analyze so they can hand it over to law enforcement.
This is how the Biden administration can skirt around the constitution because federal law enforcement can only view public information and if they want more need to obtain a warrant.
The Intercept ditching its oppositional posture to do an FBI-like job snooping on ordinary people in Gab files feels familiar — like Wikileaks being discarded as a partner by mainstream outlets in favor of Bellingcat, an approved ™ leak site. https://t.co/vasuCqCOI4

Who knew there would be a day when progressives would lock arms with law enforcement.
