Group Begins To Travel With Statue Until November
Las Vegas is no stranger to over-the-top spectacles, but the latest addition might just blow the roof off your expectations—a towering, 43-foot-tall marionette of Donald Trump, depicted completely nude, is on display as part of a controversial new art installation.
Weighing in at a hefty 6,000 pounds, the foam-over-rebar sculpture kicks off the “Crooked and Obscene Tour,” with its first stop right in Sin City at 13460 Apex Harbor Ln. But if you miss it, don’t worry—the tour is set to travel across the U.S., bringing this larger-than-life Trump figure to a city near you.
Now, this isn’t just some shock art for the sake of grabbing attention (though it certainly does that). According to the tour’s organizers, the goal is to spark conversation about transparency—or the lack thereof—in politics.
The naked portrayal of Trump is intended as a statement on vulnerability and the hidden personas of public figures. But, let’s be real—whether you see it as an artistic critique or an outrageous stunt, one thing’s for sure: this massive marionette is going to make waves wherever it goes.
For those keeping track, this isn’t the first time Trump has been turned into a nude sculpture. Back in 2016, artist Joshua “Ginger” Monroe, working with the art collective INDECLINE, crafted five life-size naked statues of Trump for a project titled “The Emperor Has No Balls.”
Those statues popped up unannounced in places like New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco before being quickly removed by authorities. The new marionette, however, dwarfs its predecessors, and this time around, it’s got a full-blown national tour planned. Stay tuned for the dates!
Meanwhile, speaking of Trump, Hollywood star Zachary Levi, best known for his roles in Shazam! and Chuck, has made headlines of his own after throwing his support behind the former president in the lead-up to the 2024 election.
Levi’s endorsement came during an event in Michigan, where he stood alongside Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard. Initially a supporter of Kennedy, Levi explained that after Kennedy suspended his campaign, he knew where his vote was going.
“In a perfect world, maybe I would’ve voted for Bobby,” Levi told the crowd. “But we don’t live in a perfect world. We live in a broken one, and right now, I stand with President Trump.” He went on to express his Christian conservative upbringing and a healthy distrust of the government, declaring Trump as the man to “take back this country.”
Levi’s political stance isn’t his first foray into controversy. In 2023, the actor faced backlash after retweeting a post critical of pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, agreeing that the company was a “real danger to the world.” The comment sparked outrage, with many accusing him of pushing anti-vaccine rhetoric, though Levi has yet to clarify his stance.
