Haley Smashes Both Biden and Trump on Foreign Policy – Watch
Former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley criticized both President Biden and former President Trump on their handling of North Korea on Tuesday, saying that neither had “changed North Korea’s direction for the better.”
In a statement released Tuesday, Haley criticized Biden’s “weakness” and Trump’s “friendliness” to the North Korean communist regime, the Washington Examiner reported. Haley’s words on U.S.-North Korea relations under Trump and Biden came as Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to discuss a possible deal to ship munitions to Russia.
“The Kim-Putin partnership is another sign that the dictators of the world are united,” Haley said in a statement Tuesday. “The tyrants who lead China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea hate America and our values. We must take their threats seriously. Neither Joe Biden’s weakness nor Donald Trump’s friendliness to Kim have changed North Korea’s direction for the better. These dictators only understand strength.”
Haley was appointed by former President Trump to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., and she has not been afraid to criticize her former boss on foreign policy issues.
“The Biden administration has made a number of mistakes on North Korea,” Haley said. “They’ve lifted sanctions, they’ve not held North Korea accountable, and they’ve not put in place a strategy to deter North Korea from its nuclear ambitions.”
The North Korea-Russia meeting is another sign that the dictators of the world are united.
Biden has been too weak and Trump was too friendly, even praising Kim Jong Un.
Dictators only understand strength.
