Hillary Is Plotting A New Path To Get Her Fingers In The White House
It appears that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has been working with Hillary Clinton throughout her quest to become President.
It was originally reported by multiple news outlets that the failed 2016 Presidential candidate met with several 2020 hopefuls in early 2019. However, it hhas been made known that Hillary has been speaking with Warren for a couple of months.
NBC News sources claim they don’t know how many conversations Warren has had with Clinton and they have not made their meetings public knowledge. NBC News Reports:
One source was aware of just one additional call between Warren and Clinton since then. But a person who is close to Clinton said the contact has been substantial enough to merit attention, describing a conversation between the two as seemingly recent because it was “front of mind” for her.
“That has clearly not gone unnoticed, and I think she really appreciates that,” the person close to Clinton said.
Warren aides declined to discuss the relationship between the two women, the dates or content of their conversations, or the campaign’s strategic thinking about whether to show proximity to, or distance from, Clinton. Clinton’s spokesman did not return a call or a text message from NBC before publication.
“To the extent that Democratic primary voters fear a repeat scenario in 2020 — and to the extent that she’s competing with Sanders for the votes of progressives — there may be good reason for Warren to keep her distance from Clinton publicly,” NBC News reports. It notes Clinton could be a valuable asset in the event Warren “finds herself battling for delegates and superdelegates” at next year’s Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin– the same state Clinton lost in 2016.
It is clear both women want the President out of office and Hillary would have some influence over a number of delegates at the DNC convention in 2020. If Hillary has control of delegates you gotta wonder what the price is going to be to get those delegates…the VP maybe?
