Starting on April 1, 2024, the minimum wage for fast-food workers will increase to $20 per hour, with potential implications for pricing and franchisee cash flow. McDonald’s CEO, Chris Kempczinski, acknowledged that the new law might lead to higher pricing and require adjustments to productivity.
