In 2020 They Were ‘Hero’s’, In 2021 They are Zero’s & Falling Like Dominos
Blue state governors like Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, and Tom Wolf were “hero’s” of the Trump resistance last year. Now, they are zero’s wrapped up in controversy, being recalled, and losing powers.
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf was stripped of his emergency power by Pennsylvania voters and now can only declare a state of emergency for a maximum of 25 days. After twenty five days the governor must work with the state legislator if he wishes to extend the emergency order.
Michgan Governor Gretchen Whitmer also lost her emergency powers after she banned seeds and attempted to jail an 80 year old barber. Republican lawmakers repealed most of her emergency powers so she can no long impose draconian restrictions.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has bigger problems, he’s about to be unemployed. A little over a month before the recall election scheduled for September 14 polls show an even split of California’s want Newsom gone. In about 30 days support to recall Newsom went from 40% to 50%.
Democrats far outnumber Republicans in the state but Newsom campaign is worried most are going to stay home.
“Democrats have not had urgency, and that’s Newsom’s greatest challenge at this point,” said Democratic consultant Michael Soneff. “His ability to convince Democrats to return their ballot over the course of a month is going to make all the difference in whether or not he wins against the recall.”
Newsom’s campaign is spinning the truth, the truth is Democrats don’t like what Newsom is doing and they aren’t going to vote Republican. Instead, they are going to stay home and let the chips fall where they may.
Finally, we have the Emmy award winning, New York groping Governor Andrew Cuomo who has been forced to resign.
Between the nursing home scandal and allegations of sexual misconduct Cuomo has been forced to resign.
