It’s Coming Apart at the Seams and Dems Are Calling Out Biden
Things are starting to unravel in the Democratic Party, some in the know can see the red tidal wave coming in November and they are ready to take prisoners.
A whole bank of lawmakers and political operatives in D.C. are ready to blow the whistle on just how bad the Biden administration is. They see his response to bad situations as flat and he may be trapped in a previous political age unsuited for today’s political game.
Camille Rivera is a Democratic strategist at New Deal Strategies. She said, “He’s missing the boat here. This is our time to dig in and be absolutely furious because these one-half measures are not working. He’s got a real excitability problem.” She went on to say that Biden is just not meeting the moment.
Sarah Longwell is an anti-Trump and moderate GOP strategist. She said, “You can’t just hold one press conference or give one speech. It’s constant communication. [Democrats] feel a sense of urgency. … ‘Talk to us. Tell us what the plan is.’”
Adam Jentileson is a former top aide for Harry Reid. He said, “There is a leadership vacuum right now, and [Biden’s] not filling it. … I sympathize with the argument that there’s very little they can do legislatively. But in moments of crisis, the president is called upon to be a leader. And when people are feeling scared and angry and outraged, they look to him for that, and they’re not getting much.”
Everybody knew that there were going to be gaffes when Biden was elected, but they for some reason are surprised by the lack of energy and the compounding failures.
The truth is that the whole party is broken and doesn’t have the resources to fix it. The nation is seeing it more clearly than ever and there’s not much that is going to stop that big red wave coming in November.
