Kamala Does Town Hall Event Hosted By Anderson Cooper
Kamala Harris’s recent CNN town hall performance with Anderson Cooper was a textbook example of her flailing attempts to connect with voters while delivering a muddled, off-base message. Harris doubled down on her “Hitler” rhetoric, which has been a recurring talking point in her campaign. Even Cooper, known for his generally friendly posture toward Democratic candidates, hinted that this line of attack wasn’t resonating with the public. Yet, Harris pushed forward, throwing in accusations of fascism against Donald Trump for good measure.
What Harris seems to forget—or conveniently ignores—is that Trump has already been in office. He didn’t govern as a fascist, particularly compared to the current administration’s tendencies toward authoritarian policies. Harris even threw out the misleading claim that Trump wanted to terminate the Constitution. In reality, what Trump said was about the dangers of fraudulent elections undermining the Constitution—hardly a call for its abolition. But Harris, in typical fashion, twisted the narrative.
COOPER: There are tens of millions of Americans who have heard all those things and don’t buy it… they’re still gonna vote for President Trump. He’s arguably more popular now than ever. What do you say to convince them?

When voters asked about high prices and inflation, a major issue for most Americans, Harris deflected. Instead of acknowledging how her votes and the administration’s policies have directly contributed to inflation, she blamed it all on “price gouging.” She took no responsibility for the rampant government spending that’s driving inflation through the roof, and instead promised more giveaways, ensuring that inflation will only worsen if she’s in power.
Her attempt to differentiate herself from Biden was equally incoherent. In a long, rambling response, she tried to frame herself as a “new generation of leadership,” but failed to provide any specifics about what that actually means or why she hasn’t accomplished these “new” ideas in her current role. The irony was palpable—she’s been part of the administration driving the very policies she’s now vaguely criticizing.
Kamala — increasingly reeking of desperation — is closing her campaign NOT by talking about the issues that matter to Americans, but by calling President Trump “fascist.”
It’s disrespectful to the intelligence of voters. If she had any self-respect, she’d be ashamed of herself. pic.twitter.com/aWXFb5L6Eh

Perhaps most alarming was her comment on the Supreme Court. Harris suggested that the court needed to be “reformed” because she didn’t agree with its rulings. This is a concerning trend from the Biden-Harris administration—whenever a democratic institution doesn’t align with their agenda, they float the idea of overhauling or undermining it.
And then came her most unbelievable claim: when pressed by Cooper about her previous stance on decriminalizing border crossings, she attempted to rewrite history. Harris suggested that she never intended to support an unsecured border. The reality, of course, is that the border has been in disarray since she took office, largely due to the administration’s lax policies. Her sudden disavowal of her prior stance was both shocking and absurd.

In perhaps her most comical moment of the night, Harris tried to explain away her notoriously vague and evasive answers. She described herself as a “nerd,” claiming that her inability to give clear responses stems from wanting to “research” the issues. But voters see through this. Harris’s rambling, word salad approach isn’t about thoroughness—it’s about avoiding accountability and papering over her weak grasp on policy.
BASH: People I’m talking to say if Kamala’s goal was to close the deal tonight, they’re not sure she did that.
Questions about her weaknesses and mistakes… no answers there.
