Kirk Cameron Tour Guest Has Far Left Fuming
Kirk Cameron’s Freedom Tour is making a stop in Henderson, Tenn. on Saturday, featuring two outstanding female athletes: Riley Gaines, a University of Kentucky college swim champion who was nominated for athlete of the year, and Bethany Hamilton, a champion surfer who lost her arm to a shark attack at a young age.

Gaines, who has been vocal about her opposition to biological males competing in female sports, has recently been in the news for her stance on the issue. In a recent competition with UPenn’s Lia Thomas, who is a biological male and over 6 feet tall after taking estrogen, Gaines tied for fifth place but was denied a trophy. The NCAA determined that Thomas, who identifies as female, should receive the trophy and accolades. When Gaines spoke out, she was met with backlash from the Left.
Hamilton has also been vocal about her opposition to the World Surf League’s new guidelines which allow trans-identified biological males to compete against women. Hamilton has even gone so far as to boycott the league and has been met with criticism from the Left.
At the Henderson stop, Cameron and Brave Books will be reading “As You Grow,” a children’s book based on Christian values. Brave Books have been having difficulty getting book readings in libraries. Fifty-five of them have already refused to host the readings.
Cameron’s mission is to “equip young children with the tools and spirit to fight the very real war being waged for the hearts and minds of the next generation.” He believes that the values in “As You Grow” are the perfect way to do this, as the book is “about character, virtue, and courage.”
Gaines and Hamilton’s stories are certainly inspiring and uplifting. In a time when the Left is pushing for gender-neutral bathrooms, drag queen story hour, and the removal of gender-specific activities, it is inspiring to see these two women standing up for what’s right. They are a reminder that we should never give up on our beliefs, no matter how unpopular they may be. We should all strive to be like Gaines and Hamilton, and stand up for the values that we believe in.
The Indianapolis Public Library had an extraordinary event today.
It was the largest event in its history.
2500 people gathered for Kirk Cameron's reading of his new book "As You Grow", focused on biblical teachings & God.
Recently, 50 public libraries denied his story time. pic.twitter.com/fh1o3AdLau
