Lemon Interviews People While In NJ
Folks, sometimes the best-laid plans go hilariously wrong, and that’s exactly what happened when former CNN host Don Lemon decided to take a trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey, to gauge voter sentiment on the boardwalk.
Now, for anyone familiar with the Jersey Shore, this was a bit of a head-scratcher from the start. The shore has a strong reputation as Trump country, and it didn’t take long for Lemon to find that out the hard way.
As Lemon strolled along the boardwalk, microphone in hand, asking folks who they planned to support in the upcoming election, the answers he got were likely not what he—or his production team—had expected. The majority of the people he spoke with proudly said they were backing Donald Trump.
One man even pointed out that he was making more money four years ago, a sentiment that Lemon tried to counter by insisting the economy has never been more robust. But here’s the thing: voters aren’t just taking the media’s word for it—they’re looking at their own checkbooks and comparing life now to what it was like under Trump. And for many, the difference is clear.
NEW: Don Lemon interviews people in Atlantic City, NJ and is shocked to find out most people are supporting Trump.
Multiple people mentioned how they felt more financially stable under Trump.
“Four years ago it was a lot better. I made a lot more money than I do now.”

The segment took an even more amusing turn when Lemon tried to tout Kamala Harris’ experience and record, only to be met with visible skepticism and dismissal from the voters he encountered. It was clear that the folks on the boardwalk weren’t buying what he was selling.

Now, to be fair, New Jersey is indeed a blue state, but Lemon’s choice of location was, well, questionable. He might have found more Kamala Harris supporters in a place like Morris County, a traditionally Republican area that has started to lean more Democratic in recent years. But South Jersey? That’s a different story.
If you’ve been to places like Ocean City lately, you’d probably notice the sea of Trump 2024 flags waving proudly, giving the impression that the Garden State might just be turning ruby red.
